FL-41 (FL stands for fluorescent) is a rose coloured tint which filters blue and green wavelengths, improving contrast and sharpness, increasing visual acuity and thereby relieving painful light sensitivity. The tint can assist in the treatment of headaches, photophobia, blepharospasms and dizziness. Migraine sufferers have also found a reduction in their symptoms with the use of the tint for general use or specific tasks.
The darkness or percentage of the tint shade can be adjusted according to the severity of each individual patient’s symptoms. We carry samples in store of different density’s for patients to trial before ordering lenses. The tint can be placed onto almost any lens available, and can used for both indoor and outdoor use. Some user’s however may prefer a darker tint or even polarised lenses for wearing outside.
